food storage articles

We started having preparedness classes to aid those who were interested in food storage and emergency preparedness to enhance what they already had or to get started.

We love to help people to learn how to cook with long term food storage items.

Due to popular demand we are teaching cooking, weekly, helping people convert their diets to foods that can store and also provide exceptional nutrition.

Our hope is that this site will aid in the sharing of knowledge and talents in the art of being prepared.

Elder James E. Faust

There is a wise old saying: “Eat it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.” Thrift is a practice of not wasting anything. Some people are able to get by because of the absence of expense. They have their shoes resoled, they patch, they mend, they sew, and they save money. They avoid installment buying, and make purchases only after saving enough to pay cash, thus avoiding interest charges. Frugality means to practice careful economy. (See Webster’s New World Dictionary, 2d. college edition.)
